Lanka Sathosa reduces prices of seven essential commodities

Lanka Sathosa has once again reduced prices of seven essential commodities. The price reduction is effective as of today at all Sathosa outlets. Lanka Sathosa issuing a statement said the measure has been taken in order to provide relief to consumers. Accordingly, the price of a kilogram of white sugar has been reduced by 11 rupees and a kilogram of local red raw rice has been reduced by 9 rupees. Furthermore, a kilogram of big onions has been reduced while a kilogram of red dhal has also been reduced.
