President Ranil Wickremasinghe says that the government has held successful discussions with several political parties on an all-party government. He said that there are groups with various talents and skills. The president said he expects to entrust them with responsibilities according to their skills while listening to their views. He said the aim is to present a program on behalf of the country giving the opportunity to majority view through discussions. The president mentioned this when he called over on the Maha Nayake of Ranange Nikaya most venerable Makulawe Wimala thera yesterday at the headquarters of the Nikaya in Narahenpita. The Maha Sangha said they would invoke blessings on the president’s program to form an all-party government. They said that people have placed their confidence in the leadership of President Wickremasinghe and requested him to safeguard it.
