The Prime Minister says the target is to build export-oriented economy

The Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe says that the objective of the present government is to build a new Sri Lankan economy.  Making a special statement in parliament, the Prime Minister said that  the target is to build an export oriented economy.  The only safest solution to build the country is to obtain the support of the IMF. 

He also said that there is no any other alternative. This is not an easy task to build the collapsed economy but we have entered for it.  700 billion dollars is to be paid as debt for the Petroleum Corporation . Three high officials of  the government of India have  arrived in the island to discuss about the loan assistance.  Measures will be taken to conduct a summit for assistance with  India, Japan and China. 

He further stated that an interim budget will be presented on the middle of August
