Civilians who have been trapped by the fighting in southern Ukraine may finally be getting some relief. An evacuation has begun for those sheltering inside a steel plant in the city of Mariupol. They have been hunkered down for weeks alongside thousands of Ukrainian troops while facing daily attacks from Russian forces. Ukrainian officials say more than 100 people have already been taken out. It was the first time in weeks that many of them had seen sunlight. Some were shocked by the sight of what the fighting has done to their city.
