State Minister Ramesh Pathirana says that the government has planned to implement a fertilizer subsidy program for the tea cultivators. An agreement has reached with the Sri Lanka Tea Beard in this regard. A program has implemented an organic fertilizer program for the tea cultivation. The minister said that amidst the hardships the tea production in Sri Lanka has increased last year.
