Secretary to the Ministry of Highways R. W. R. Pemasiri says that all roads will be developed as pledged in the president’s vistas of prosperity manifesto. Steps have been taken to accelerate the development of all by roads and entry roads and to link those with main road network. He mentioned this while attending a press briefing today at the president’s media center. The stretch from Merigama to Kurunegala on the central expressway will be vested with the public in the near future. Mr. Pemasiri said it would be possible to complete the central expressway by 2024.
