Attacking Cornwall takes west indies past the follow-on

West Indies resumed their innings on day three of the first test against hosts Sri Lanka after losing six wickets for 113 runs at stumps on day two in Galle. Praveen Jayawickrama and Ramesh Mendis ripped through the West Indies middle order taking two and three wickets respectively. Currently West Indies have reached 218 for the loss of 8 wickets trailing Sri Lanka’s first innings score of 386 runs by 168 runs after lunch. Rakheem Cornwall and Joshua Da Silva who are presenting dogged resistance are at the crease short while ago.
