The central bank says that the local economy will grow by 5 percent this year. The economy of the country is recovering amid the pandemic. The central bank has decided to maintain its slanding interest rate unchanged. It has said that the decision has been taken by the monitory board after considering prevailing local and global macro-economic conditions and expected macro-economic trends. The central bank has issued today the 7th monitory policy for this year. Governor Ajith Nivard Cabral said that the government will be informed in writing about importing of vehicles.
