A senior politician of Barathiya Janatha Party and a member of Indian State Council Subramanian Swamy met President Gotabhaya Rajapakse this morning at the Presidential Secretariat. Mr Subramanian Swamy has stood for a strong friendly relationship between Sri Lanka and India. He also emphasized that India should support to defeat terrorism in Sri Lanka. Mr Subramanian Swamy who is an economist and a statistician, was a lecturer at conferences organized by the president when he was the defence secretary. President Rajapakse expressed his happiness to meet him again during the visit.
