Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa says that development activities related to the Hambantota Port will be recommenced in a streamlined manner. While attending a function at Tangalle, Wanawasala Kuda Temple he said that the previous government has created a disorderly situation at the Hambantota Port premises. The Prime Minister said that steps have been taken to obtain foreign investments for the development activities by briefing the ambassadors.
