The Government Medical Association submits proposals to control the spread of Dengue

The Government Medical officers Association says that they will give their full support to control dengue. During a media briefing in Colombo today secretary to the association Dr. Haritha Aluthge said that their written proposals will be submitted to the relevant authorities. Dr. Aluthge said that the Ministry of Health should guide and co-operate to implement those proposals. Assistant secretary of the association Doctor Naveen Soysa said that large scale financial management issues related to dengue eradication should be reviewed and steps should be taken to prevent problems. He said that nearly 90,000 dengue patients have been reported so far island wide.
